Apex: tracking and movement.

Apex generally rewards smooth tracking, wide awareness and frame-time stability across busy fights.

Mouse

800–1600 DPI can both work well. Compared with tac FPS games, many players are comfortable with a slightly faster cm/360 for tracking and movement.

FOV

A high FOV such as 100–110 is a common visibility-oriented range, but higher FOV makes distant targets visually smaller.

Graphics

Keep effects and ragdolls low if they create clutter or GPU pressure. Set texture budget to your VRAM capacity.

Frame cap

A stable cap can feel better than unstable peak FPS. Compare 1% lows and frame pacing in real fights, not only the firing range.
